Ableton vs Logic vs FL: which DAW should you actually use?

Every DAW does the same job. The differences matter less than the internet pretends. The single best reason to pick one is project-file compatibility with the people you actually trade work with.
Why your friends' DAW wins
Stems are fine for finished songs. Sharing actual project files is how you learn faster — see another producer's chains, automation, sends. That requires the same DAW.
If you have no friends in music yet
Pick whichever has the free trial that runs longest. Make ten beats. By beat ten you'll know if you like the workflow. Switch if you don't.
The DAW war is fake. The 'I never finished a song because I kept switching DAWs' problem is very, very real.
